A charming beginner embroidery kit from DMC, designed by Nathalie Weinzaepflen (also known as Marie-Dominique Procureur) — six printed cards ready to stitch with simple embroidery stitches, resulting in beautiful textured floral designs.

The cards come in two sizes: three bookmark-sized and three postcard-sized, each printed on sturdy 250g grainy card and finished with a plain backing so they are ready to give as soon as the stitching is done. No fabric to cut, no hoop required, no experience necessary — just pick up a needle and start. This makes a wonderful first embroidery project, and a genuinely lovely handmade gift for anyone who loves the natural world.

• 13 x 2 m skeins of Mouliné Spécial® thread (100% cotton)
