A beautiful, large Sajou cross stitch chart depicting several key scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry.ry fabric in sand colour required to complete the chart.
The Bayeux tapestry measures almost 64 meters in length and this chart shows some of the major scenes from the tapestry. There are two additions to the chart, there is a map to show the site of the events surrounding the Battle of Hastings, and there are coloured tassels included in the chart, in order to show that the whole tapestry was worked in just seven colours.
The chart measures 68 x 80 cm, the back of the chart has explanations for the embroidery and it is also teeming with historical and cultural information regarding the Bayeux Tapestry and the the history surrounding the Battle of Hastings.
The size of the motif is 337 x 337 points.
The pattern chart is 68 x 80 cm. For ease of use given the complexity of the design, it is printed in mat and can be written on should you need to mark any references.
