Sajou's Red Album No. 905 has four double fold out pattern charts for designs of vintage ribbon designs from Sainte Etienne, the region of France with historical ties to the ribbon making industry.
The red series in the Sajou albums consists of 15 pattern albums containing images and motifs.The albums are faithful re editions of the original publications which represent the historical heritage of Sajou.
The sizes of the designs in the Red Albums varies depending on the theme.

Sajou was created in 1828 by Jaques- Simon Sajou, selling haberdashery for embroidery, tapestry, lace, crochet and weaving. His pattern albums are sought after to this day by collectors worldwide. In 2005 the Sajou brand was purchased and revived by avid collector; Frederique Crestin- Billet. Many of the old designs have been faithfully reproduced and there are some new designs that have been added in the Sajou style.
