Description and Details
Bring movement and heritage texture into your work with Wild Horses 50 mm jacquard woven ribbon in Grey White and Silver. The repeating horse silhouettes feel spirited and timeless, giving you a narrative trim that looks equally at home on modern garments and traditional craft pieces. Because the motif is woven through the ribbon rather than printed on top, it sits slightly raised and creates a subtle three dimensional, embroidered effect that adds real depth in the light.
These ribbons are woven at only a few metres per hour on the same German jacquard looms that have produced luxury trims since 1898. This slow heritage process delivers crisp detail, clean edges, strong colour definition, and a ribbon with a firm, high quality hand that holds its shape beautifully and resists fraying. At 50 mm wide (about 2 inches), it is a statement depth that works as a feature band rather than a small accent.
Sold by the metre in one continuous piece, you can order the exact run needed for matching repeats and long borders. Use it for couture edging on jackets, skirts, collars, cuffs, waistbands and aprons, or to elevate bags, hats, and accessories. It also shines in interiors and craft projects such as cushion borders, quilts, decorative bands on pillows, headbands, bookmarks, pet collars, costume trims, and gift wrapping where tactile richness and pattern clarity matter.
Materials Details: 90% cotton, 10% polyester. Heritage jacquard weave produced on traditional German looms.
