Sajou Museum & Heritage Large Napoleon and Josephine Embroidery Chart

Created to mark the bicentenary of Napoleon's death, this large Sajou cross stitch chart celebrates the life and style of the imperial couple — a project worthy of the grandeur it depicts.

Napoleon and Josephine left behind an extraordinary artistic legacy: the furnishings of their residences, the lavish gowns of the Empress, the ceremonial uniforms of the Imperial Household. All of it is here, captured in stitch.

The chart is printed in full colour on a large poster measuring 68 x 80cm, with historical notes and embroidery guidance on the reverse. It comes folded in a Sajou decorative folder.

The motif is 345 stitches wide by 346 stitches high. Worked on 12 count linen, the finished piece measures approximately 57.5 x 57.8cm — a true heirloom project, representing around 295 hours of work.
