A beautiful Sajou Museum and Heritage Collection cross stitch chart depicting The Pledge of Bayeux, a scene not included in the large pattern chart.

Following attacks on Rennes and Dinan, William and two knights headed for Bayeux, the episcopal city of his half-brother, Odo. The scene is set at Bayeux, with Duke William on his throne holding his sword pointing upwards. Facing him, Harold takes an oath on two reliquaries placed on a stand decorated with draperies. By this pledge, Harold swears loyalty to William and promises him the throne of England upon Edward's death — a promise that, as we know, he will not keep.

The size of the motif is 268 x 67 points. If sewn on 32 count embroidery linen the finished size would be 45 x 11.5 cm.

The pattern chart is A3, printed in matt and can be written on should you need to mark any references.
