Sajou Cross Stitch Kit Cushion - Chenonceau Silhouette

A lovely Sajou cross stitch kit to make a cushion featuring a silhouette of the Château de Chenonceau, part of the Sajou Museum & Heritage collection.

Few châteaux have a more distinctive silhouette than Chenonceau, straddling the River Cher on its elegant arched bridge. This small cushion captures that immediately recognisable outline in a single colour on slate linen, with a blue indienne toile backing that gives the finished piece a beautiful depth. (The exact backing fabric may vary slightly depending on stock, but the result is always lovely.)

The motif measures 190 x 101 stitches, giving a finished embroidery size of approximately 31.7 x 16.8 cm and a finished cushion size of 36 x 21 cm.

The kit includes:

• Full-colour pattern chart printed on an A3 sheet
• One 40 x 23 cm piece of slate-coloured linen fabric
• 2 cards of Retors du Nord embroidery thread no. 2086
• 40 x 25 cm 100% cotton indienne backing fabric in blue tones
