A beautiful large gift box containing everything you need to make the Sajou Wissant Plaid linen throw — a striking two-tone design worked in black and off-white, with a wonderfully rich contrast of textures.
The throw uses two different threads: Laine Saint-Pierre wool for a soft, matt finish, and Tonkin thread — the same thread used by the fashion house Chanel — for a subtle sparkle that lifts the design beautifully. The result is a throw of real distinction, and genuine heirloom quality — the kind of thing that gets passed down, not packed away.
Like the Chambord Plaid, the Wissant throw began life as a project in the Maison Sajou Point de Croix book, conceived as a way of using up scraps of linen and leftover threads. Demand was such that Sajou added it to their boxed kit collection. It is perfect for both beginners and seasoned embroiderers — the small linen squares are wonderfully portable, ideal for commutes, lunch hours, holidays, or any spare moment. Fair warning: it becomes thoroughly addictive.

Instructions for making up the throw
