A gift box of 12 spools of Sajou Fil au Chinois patchwork thread in pastel tones.

This waxed thread was specially developed with patchwork in mind. Rather than a blended fibre, it is constructed with a polyester core wrapped in cotton, giving it the strength and stability of polyester with the natural feel and finish of cotton. It is passed through a bath of starch and beeswax, which makes it smoother and more luminous, with a slight rigidity that makes it noticeably easier to sew.

Each spool contains 100 metres of thread at approximately 0.31mm diameter.
