Description and Details

A beautiful Sajou Museum and Heritage Collection cross stitch chart depicting William's Feast, showing the Norman army preparing to dine before the Battle of Hastings.

Two servants have suspended a cauldron over a fire, and above, what appears to be skewers. Another servant tends an oven with flames billowing out. Two servants pass through a portal, likely a requisitioned manor. Four cavaliers use their shields as a table. Beside them, Bishop Odo gives grace over a table covered with dishes. In the centre, a servant brings a new dish with a small bow.

The size of the motif is 264 x 67 points. If sewn on 32 count embroidery linen the finished size would be 44 x 11.5 cm.

The pattern chart is A3, printed in matt and can be written on should you need to mark any references.

Materials: A3 Chart in a Decorative Sleeve.
