A magnificent large gift box containing everything you need to make the Sajou Farandole Alsacienne throw — a breathtaking embroidery celebrating the traditional costumes of Alsace, and one of the most ambitious projects in the entire Sajou range.
The design is worked on 12-count natural linen in 15 sharply contrasting colours, depicting Alsatians in their richly detailed traditional dress. Despite its scale, it is a remarkably accessible project — the large count makes the stitching clear and comfortable, and the strong colour contrasts keep the work engaging throughout. For an experienced stitcher, the embroidery represents approximately 600 hours of work. The finished throw measures 120 x 122 cm — a true heirloom piece, and a lifetime’s achievement to display.
The motif measures 660 x 660 points, giving an embroidered area of 110 x 110 cm on 12-count linen.
The kit is presented in two beautiful boxes: one for the linen, backing fabric and chart, and a separate box for the embroidery thread cards.
