A charming Sajou cross stitch kit to embroider a small decorative pot featuring King Harold's boat — the scene from the Bayeux Tapestry depicting Harold's crossing to France, a fateful journey that set in motion the events leading to the Norman Conquest of 1066.

The kit includes:

• A Sajou pattern chart for the King Harold's Boat design
• A 14 cm square piece of Sajou sand linen, 32-count
• Laine St Pierre embroidery wool
• A round box with metal base and lid, a cardboard disc for mounting the embroidery, and a band of matching patterned paper to cover the side of the box

The finished embroidered pot measures 4.2 cm high and 7.3 cm in diameter.
