A pair of Sajou hand paired embroidery scissors in faux ivory, with the Sajou S design on the handles and a removable tassel. 11.8cm long.

Silky in the hand, very hard wearing, and they snip cleanly right up to the points. Each blade is numbered to confirm hand pairing; up to 12 time-served scissor makers contribute to each pair.

Made from cellulose acetate, a natural plastic derived from cotton flower and wood pulp, in the style of the luxury decorative arts of an earlier era. Pairs with the Sajou faux veined ivory thimble. Made in France.
