This full set of Sajou Laine St Pierre threads is made for stitchers who want every shade ready to hand. The gift box contains the entire collection of 96 colours and also includes a large pattern chart to embroider a vintage style stitched colour chart, which is both useful and a lovely project in its own right. 

The threads are presented on cards in the box. Each card includes 10 metres of thread made up of four separable strands, so you can adjust thickness for fine embroidery, bolder stitching, and practical repairs. Laine St Pierre was originally produced in Lyon, France and has been associated with Fil au Chinois for decades. It began life as a traditional darning wool, but it also suits a wide range of embroidery work thanks to its handling and finish. 

The fibre blend is designed for strength and easy use. It is made from half wool and half polyamide, giving it a solid, dependable stitch with a lovely matt finish and a colourfast finish. That makes it ideal for darning socks and knitwear, visible mending, and embroidery where you want rich colour with a soft, non shiny look.
