Description and Details

A Sajou luxury thimble in faux veined ivory — a replica of the thimbles found in sewing boxes of the Charles X era (1820–1830). A perfect collector's piece, and suitable for sewing small items.

Truncated cone form with a base diameter of 1.5cm. Made from cellulose acetate, a natural plastic derived from cotton flower and wood pulp, in imitation of the luxury decorative arts materials of the period.

Pairs with the Sajou faux veined ivory scissors. Made in France.
