Description and Details

This Forget-me-nots jacquard woven ribbon in pale blues is made for fine finishing. The floral motif sits against an ivory background, and the jacquard weave creates a three dimensional, almost embroidered look that adds texture without bulk. At 10 mm (0.39 inches) wide, it is ideal for detailed work such as gift wrapping, bridal and stationery details, embroidery finishing, doll clothes, millinery trims, and subtle edging on garments.

The ribbon is sold by the metre in a continuous piece, so you can order the exact length you need for clean runs. It is woven at a few metres per hour on the same jacquard looms in Germany since 1898, giving it that crisp, heritage woven quality and sharp motif definition.

Jacquard ribbon has many uses, from bookmarks, headbands, cuff bracelets and chokers, to pet collars and leads. It is also a brilliant finishing touch for quilts, pillows and cushions. On clothing it works beautifully on cuffs, collars and hems, and can create unusual waistbands and button bands.

Materials Details: 85% Cotton, 10% Polyester, 5% Viscose.
