This Forget-me-nots jacquard woven ribbon in pale blues is made to elevate finishing details. The faded blue floral motif sits against an ivory ground, and the jacquard weave creates a three dimensional, almost embroidered look that adds texture and depth. At 50 mm (2 inches) wide, it is perfect when you want the ribbon to be a feature rather than a small trim.
It is sold by the metre in a continuous piece, so you can order the exact length needed for clean runs on garments and home projects. These ribbons are woven at a few metres per hour on the same jacquard looms in Germany since 1898, giving them crisp pattern definition and true heritage woven quality.
Use it for standout finishing on cushions, quilts, and soft furnishings, for waistbands, button bands, cuffs and hems, or as a decorative band on skirts. It also works beautifully for gift wrapping, bridal details, hair accessories, bookmarks and pet collars, where the width and texture make the motif read clearly.
Materials Details: 85 percent Cotton, 10 percent Polyester, 5 percent Viscose.
Ribbon Care Tips:
Before use: Iron with a hot iron and plenty of steam to prevent puckering. If lurex or viscose is present, use a cooler setting.
Washing Tips: Unless lurex, other effect or viscose threads are used, machine wash up to 60°C. All other ribbons (with lurex, other effect or viscose threads) are washable up to 30°C.
Drying Tips: Avoid using a tumble dryer.
Ironing Tips: Iron up to level 2–3 provided no lurex, other effect or viscose threads are used. If they are present, iron at level 1–2
