Antique Tamboured Net Lace Collar

Description and Details

An unusual antique collar of tamboured net with applied cord worked into the design.

The collar is in very good condition for it's age and use, although there is some damage to the front edges, most likely where some form of closure has been applied, as seen in the photos.

The collar measures 40.5 cm/ 16 inches around the neck, and 25.5 cm/ 10 inches deep.

Materials: Cotton, Tambour Work, Applied Cord.
