A beautiful jacquard woven ribbon displaying classic English roses on an off-white ground. The jacquard weave delivers a three dimensional, almost embroidered effect that lifts the floral motifs from the ribbon and lends a luxury finish. The ribbon measures 50 mm (2 inches) wide and is woven to a high standard on traditional jacquard looms in Germany.

Care and handling guidance:
Press the ribbon with a hot iron and generous steam before use to prevent puckering. If the ribbon contains lurex, viscose or other effect threads, use a cooler setting. Machine wash ribbons without effect threads up to 60°C. Ribbons with lurex, viscose or effect fibres should be washed at 30°C. Do not tumble dry. Iron at level 2 to 3 for standard ribbons and at level 1 to 2 where effect threads are present.
Uses and suitability:
Jacquard ribbon is highly versatile. Use it for trims on garments, collars and cuffs, waistbands, button bands and hems. It also makes elegant headbands, bookmarks, quilt accents, cushions, pet collars and decorative craft projects where a raised floral design and heritage look are required.
