Description and Details

Fil au Chinois Metallic Threads No. 15 are made from three strands of Size 40 Metallic threads twisted together. The threads are made from a thin strip of gimped metallic coated plastic which is tightly coiled and will not fray.

Suitable for hand or machine embroidery, these threads can also be mixed with other threads for lace making and embroidery.

The diameter of the thread is 0.39 mm, with approx 225 meters of thread on each spool.

Please be aware that these threads do not contain real gold and are not the same as the threads which are used for goldwork embroidery. and is available in in;
