Description and Details

On a bright yellow background, this 'indienne' is reminiscent of the old prints which, in India, were dyed with turmeric.
It is named Coromandel, in memory of the Indian coast of the same name where, from the 17th century, many trading posts of the different Indian companies were established. This is where the boats loaded with fabrics before leaving for Europe.
