Description and Details

A Sajou luxury thimble in faux tortoiseshell — a replica of the thimbles found in sewing boxes of the Charles X era (1820–1830). A perfect collector's piece, and suitable for sewing small items.

Truncated cone form with a base diameter of 1.5cm. Made from cellulose acetate, a natural plastic derived from cotton flower and wood pulp, in imitation of the luxury decorative arts materials of the period.

Pairs with the Sajou faux tortoiseshell scissors. Made in France.
