A beautiful large gift box containing everything you need to make the legendary Sajou Chambord Plaid linen throw — one of Sajou’s most beloved and ambitious projects.

The throw began life as a project in the Maison Sajou Point de Croix book, conceived as a creative way to use up scraps of linen and leftover embroidery threads. The response was so enthusiastic that Sajou began producing it as a boxed kit. It is not hard to see why: 72 small linen squares in 17 colours, each embroidered with traditional motifs from Sajou’s vintage archives, then assembled and edged with striped petersham ribbon into a throw measuring 99 x 88 cm. The finished piece is a genuine heirloom — the kind of thing that gets passed down, not packed away.

The small size of each linen square makes this a wonderfully portable project — perfect for commutes, lunch hours, holidays, or any spare moment you can find. Fair warning: it becomes thoroughly addictive. It is also a lovely project to share with younger or less experienced stitchers, as the piece grows visibly and satisfyingly from the very first square.
