A Sajou French vintage style Hornbeam wooden tape measure with a woven ribbon measuring tape and a matching pin cushion.
The tape measure is rewound by turning the small knob placed on the end of the tape measure. It measures 2.5 cm diameter and is 3.6 cm high.
The wooden pin cushion measures 4 cm high and is covered with 32 count embroidery linen which can be embroidered for that personal touch. If you decide not to embroider the pad, it is advisable to stick the cushion in place with glue.
Both the tape measure and pin cushion come in a pretty vintage style box and can be purchased as a pair or individually.

Sajou was created in 1828 by Jaques- Simon Sajou, selling haberdashery for embroidery, tapestry, lace, crochet and weaving. His pattern albums are sought after to this day by collectors worldwide. In 2005 the Sajou brand was purchased and revived by avid collector; Frederique Crestin- Billet. Many of the old designs have been faithfully reproduced and there are some new designs that have been added in the Sajou style.
