Description and Details

Le Baufil thick natural linen thread for jewellery making, scrapbooking and general craft work. It is 100% linen, neither dyed nor waxed, with the natural colour and texture of the fibre.

At 1.4 mm in diameter, this is a substantial thread with a firm feel, suited to decorative work where the thread itself forms part of the design.

Each spool holds 15 metres and measures 5.5 cm high by 2 cm in diameter.

Le Baufil is also made in a 60 metre reel. For a finer, waxed alternative, the Fil au Chinois natural linen thread is 1 mm in diameter and treated with starch and beeswax for a smoother, firmer finish.
