A beautiful Sajou Museum and Heritage Collection cross stitch chart showing the crossing of the Couesnon in front of Mont St Michel as depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry.

The scene is set in the lead-up to the Battle of Hastings, showing the Norman army sinking into the mud as they crossed the Couesnon. Harold is shown rescuing the Duke of Normandy's soldiers from the quicksand.

The size of the motif is 200 x 89 points. If sewn onto 32 count (12 threads per cm) embroidery linen the finished size would be 33.5 x 15 cm.

The pattern chart is A3, printed in matt and can be written on should you need to mark any references.
