A beautiful Sajou cross stitch kit depicting Harold's Embarkment at Normandy as shown in the Bayeux Tapestry.

The scene records the ill-fated crossing of Harold to Normandy in 1063/4, which ended in a forced landing and his capture and imprisonment by Count Guy of Ponthieu following a storm at sea — the beginning of the chain of events that would lead to the Conquest.

The motif measures 370 x 95 points, giving a finished size of approximately 62 x 16 cm on 32-count linen. The chart is printed in matt finish so that notes and references can be written directly onto it.
