This Psychedelic Floral 50 mm jacquard woven ribbon offers the same heritage loom quality as the Bold version, but in a brighter, lighter colourway that feels fresh and playful. The retro floral trail is woven into the ribbon structure rather than printed on top, so the motifs hold crisp definition and sit slightly raised. That three dimensional finish creates an embroidered look that instantly lifts garments and craft projects.
Woven at only a few metres per hour on historic German jacquard looms that have been producing luxury ribbons since 1898, this trim carries genuine textile heritage. The slow weaving process allows dense patterning and strong colour contrast, while giving the ribbon a sturdy hand that resists fraying and holds shape well. At 50 mm wide, it is a statement depth, ideal when you want a feature band rather than a narrow accent.
Sold by the metre in a continuous piece, it is easy to order the exact run needed for repeated trims. Use it for couture edging on jackets, skirts, collars and cuffs, as a waistband or apron tie, for bag straps, hat bands, and decorative bows. Ribbon Care - Washing and care:
Unless lurex, other effect or viscose threads are used, the ribbon can be machine washed up to 60 degrees. All other ribbons (with lurex, other effect or viscose threads) are washable up to 30 degrees.
Drying:
It is advisable not to use a tumble dryer.
Ironing:
The ribbons can be ironed up to level 2-3, provided no lurex, other effect or viscose threads are used. Please iron all other ribbons (with lurex, other effect or viscose threads) at ironing level 1-2.
