Description and Details

Nottingham Cluny lace in a torchon circles design — a neat narrow lace featuring circular motifs on a classic torchon ground, worked in a heavier cotton thread giving a more substantial, tactile quality, with a pretty scalloped edge. 3cm (1.18") deep, sold by the metre in a continuous piece.

Made by 10th generation lacemakers — the last remaining manufacturers in the UK, whose clients include Royal Households and Haute Couture houses. Materials: 95% cotton, 5% nylon.
