A beautiful jacquard woven ribbon showing blue Jacobean style roses with gilded foliage against a black ground. Care and handling guidance:
Before using, press the ribbon with a hot iron and generous steam to prevent puckering. If the ribbon contains lurex or viscose effect threads, use a cooler setting. Machine wash ribbons without lurex or effect threads up to 60°C. Ribbons containing lurex, viscose or other effect threads should be washed at 30°C. Do not tumble dry. Iron at level 2 to 3 for standard ribbons, and at level 1 to 2 where lurex or effects are present.
Uses and suitability:
Jacquard ribbon is versatile. Use it for headbands, cuff bracelets, chokers, pet collars, trims on garments, waistbands, button bands and decorative bands on skirts. It also works beautifully for bookmarks, quilt accents, cushions and luxury craft projects where a three dimensional, heritage design is required.
