A Merchant & Mills pot of pure beeswax.

Traditionally used by tailors to strengthen thread for hand sewing buttons and button holes, beeswax can also be used for beading and goldwork embroidery to prevent beads, bullion or sharp metal purl from cutting the thread. 

A natural thread conditioner, it prevents static, fuzzy threads and tangling,- and also makes threading a needle much easier if the end of the thread is passed through the wax. 

Each pot contains roughly 20g of beeswax.
