This antique Edwardian Irish linen damask tablecloth is a true heirloom piece, woven with an elegant stylised trailing roses design. A continuous rose border runs along the edges and corners, framing the cloth beautifully, while the centre features a large wreath of roses. Between the border and central wreath sit delicate single rose motifs, giving the whole cloth a balanced, refined pattern that looks stunning on a dining or display table.
Made from high quality Irish linen damask, the cloth has the classic subtle sheen and firm hand that collectors prize. It has been stored in excellent order and arrived beautifully starched. It has not been re laundered since coming to PT, and there are a few light storage marks on the outer folds, visible in the photos, which will remove with a gentle soak and careful wash. This is typical for antique linens that have been kept crisp and unused for long periods.
The generous size of 184 x 269 cm makes it ideal for a full dining table, special occasions, period interiors, or styling for photography and display.
